10. GHOST LAKE!
Don’t be scared by the name though it’s derived from native tales of a ghost that prowled the river valley collecting the skulls of Blackfoot Indians felled by Cree warriors in battle.
This lake lies in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and its on A1 highway very close to Cochrane and I recommend taking an hour break here to admire the beauty and watch sunset (In summers they do open camping ground.)

Got to see this beauty in White Sands National Park on NYE. White Sands is an interesting spot for sunrise/sunset as the park has limited hours so we had to hustle to leave right after this was filmed so they didn’t lock us in. But the sunset was incredible and totally worth the extra effort.
