16. The most beautiful national park in the world, as it is a paradise for adventurers and nature lovers alike. 🌿🦙
🧗♀️ Torres del Paine National Park is located in the southern Chilean Patagonia, about 112 kilometers north of Puerto Natales and approximately 312 kilometers north of Punta Arenas. It is situated near the Andes Mountains, where the steppe meets the southern ice fields, offering breathtaking landscapes of granite peaks, glaciers, turquoise lakes, and vast grasslands.
🥾 The park offers some of the most iconic hikes in Patagonia, ranging from short walks to multi-day treks. The W Trek (4-5 days) is one of the most popular multi day hikes in the world, which include hiking to Towers Base (Las Torres), the French Valley, and Grey Glacier. It’s moderately challenging and offers stunning views of mountains, glaciers, and lakes. It is also possible to do some of these hikes as day hikes without camping. The O Circuit (7-9 days) is a longer and more remote trek that includes the W Trek plus a full loop around the park.
Save this and share it with someone you’d like to visit this national park with 😍
