The Musterers Rest is a glamping escape near Waipukurau in Hawke’s Bay. It’s hidden on a private farm next to a polo field with views of the incredible snow capped Ruahine Ranges.

Here’s a few more details if you’re planning a trip;

1. The Cathedral caves can only be accessed through private land so there’s a small fee to help maintain the beautiful walking track. They are only accessible during low tide to check the cathedralcaves.co.nz website before visiting.

2. Our favourite accomodation is Catlins Mohua Park

3. The endangered Hector’s dolphins often visits the beautiful Porpoise bay. A popular surf spot for beginners. Please never chase or try to touch these beautiful wild creatures. They are wild but can be very playful.

4. Our favourite waterfalls are McLean Falls, Purakaunui Falls, Koropuku Falls.

5. Catlins horse riding offer some amazing trekking adventures.

6. A few amazing beaches are Porpoise Bay, Dummys beach, Waipati beach & Tuatuku beach

7. The best roadside cafes are Niagara Falls cafe, The Lost Gypsy, the cafe at the Whistling Frog holiday park
