1. 2 million sunflowers🌻🌻🌻 in Hokuryu-cho in Hokkaido.

It is the beautiful scenery we can see about 1 month later.
This is the largest sunflower field in Japan.
The vast fields of flowers and the endless blue sky were breathtaking.

🌻The best time to see sunflowers : between late July and early August.
🕣Opening hour : 24 hours.
💴Admission fee : free.
📍Access : 1.5 hour by car from Asahikawa airport.

2. Blue hydrangea path in Unshoji Temple in Akita prefecture.

It has become popular in recent years for its spectacular views of more than 1,500 hydrangea plants.
The temple's deputy priest spent more than 15 years growing them from just one plant.
As with my previous post, this is one of the scenery I really wanted to film in this place.
This path was a popular spot as it is near the entrance of the temple, so it was very difficult to film a video without people.

3. Blue nemophila field at Hitachi Seaside💠💠💠 Park in Ibaraki prefecture.

The 200 hectares huge park is a home to a variety of colorful flowers throughout the four seasons.
I have seen nemophila flower fields in many places, but I think this is the best place in terms of the size of the fields.

💠Best time to see nemophila flowers : Between mid and late April.
💴Admission fee : 700 yen.
🕣Opening hour : 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ( Fee and opening hour may change depending on the season. )

4. Canola flowers and Mount Fuji🌼🗻 in Oishi Park at the shore of lake Kawaguchiko.

This park is home to a wide variety of beautiful flowers in every season.
In autumn, this flower field changes into a red carpet of the autumn leaves of kochia.

5. Cherry blossoms, a Japanese traditional building and Mt.Fuji🌸🏡🗻 at Oshino village in Yamanashi prefecture.

This village is famous for the eight ponds filled with very clear water that flows from Mt.Fuji.
Nakaike pond in this video is one of the famous photo spots.

6. Flowers and ducks💠🌼🌸🦆 in Amabiki Kannon in Ibaraki prefecture.

This place is well known as the beautiful hydrangea viewing spot.
Especially between late June and early July when colorful hydrangeas float on the pond is popular.

7. Hydrangea at Meigetsuin temple in Kamakura.

This temple is one of the most famous hydrangea viewing spots in Japan.
The first scene in this video is the most popular photo spot of this temple.
I lined up two hours before the gates opened to film a video without people😅.

9. Lavender garden in Misato town in Akita prefecture.

Around late June, the vast fields of 20,000 lavender plants are in full bloom.
I went there early in the morning so there were few people and the peaceful atmosphere was nice.

10. Lilies of many colors at Sasayama Tamamizu Yuri Garden in Hyogo prefecture.

From mid-June to early-July, 100,000 lilies of 60 species are in full bloom.
The blue flowers at the far end are hydrangeas.
If the timing is right, you can see a collaboration of lilies and hydrangeas.

11. Livingstone daisy field🌼🌸🌺 in Kuju Flower Park in Oita prefecture.

You can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of the seasonal flowers with the mountains in the background.
Between early and late May, Livingstone daisies are in full bloom.
When I visited here this year, this flower garden was not yet in full bloom, so I am posting a video I took last year.

The contrast between the blue of the nemophila on the ground and the colourful wall of azaleas was amazing💠🌼🌸🌺.

14. Moss phlox at Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park in Hokkaido.

In mid-May, the vast hillside covering 100,000 square meters is beautifully colored like a carpet of pink.
The pink torii gate⛩ on the left and the cow mark🐮 on the top right are symbols of this place.

This is one of Hokkaido’s most famous spots for moss phlox.

16. Mount Fuji and summer flowers at Hanano Miyako Koen Park in Yamanashi prefecture.

It is the beautiful scenery we can see this summer.
This is my favorite place where I can take pictures of seasonal flowers with Mount Fuji in the background.
The first scene is the sunflower field and the second one is the orange cosmos flower field.

17. Nemophila flowers at Kuju Flower Park in Oita prefecture.

18. Odawara Castle Park in Odawara city near Tokyo.

This park is located in the grounds of Odawara Castle🏯, which was built in the middle of the 14th century.
About 10,000 irises are fully bloomed in early June.
Hydrangeas blooming at the same time were also very beautiful.

19. Shorinji temple in Kyoto city.
It is a Buddhist temple established in 1615.

This is a "Chozuya" that is a place for ritual cleansing of hands and mouth water when visiting shrines.
Decorating the Chozuya with floating flowers like this is called Hana Chozu in Japanese.
The charm of this temple's Hana Chozu was its vivid colors of the various flowers🌻🌺🌼💠.

21. The hydrangea garden at Shimoda town in Shizuoka prefecture.

About 3 million hydrangeas are beautifully bloomed on a vast site of about 300,000 square meters facing the sea.
The scenery of an alley and hill full of colorful hydrangeas were gorgeous.

22. The rainbow colored flower field🌈 in Shikisai-no-oka in Hokkaido.

It is the beautiful scenery we can see this summer.
The field on a hill is filled with about 30 varieties of flowers.
From the spring to fall, you can see the amazing scenery with Mt.Tokachi in the background.

This is a “Chozuya” that is a place for ritual cleansing of hands and mouth water when visiting shrines.

24. Tulips and sunrise🌷🌅 in Akebonoyama Agricultural Park in Kashiwa city near Tokyo.

You can enjoy seeing a variety of seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, tulips, poppies, sunflowers and cosmos flowers.
There were so many people around me taking photos that it was difficult to find the good timing when I could walk sideways while shooting.

25. "Umbrella Sky” at Moomin Valley Park in Saitama prefecture.

This is a theme park for the popular animated cartoon "Moomin" written by Tove Jansson.
A 200-meter path from the entrance gate was decorated with a lot of colorful umbrellas floating in the air.

27. White hydrangea “Annabelle” in Sagamihara Kita Park in Kanagawa prefecture.

The park is planted with 10,000 hydrangeas of about 200 varieties, with white hydrangeas being particularly popular.
I also liked the relaxing atmosphere, as it is not a place where many tourists come.

28. White hydrangea "Annabelle" in Gongendo Park in Saitama prefecture near Tokyo.

This is beautiful scenery we will be able to see soon.
It is very popular for the scenery of the 1km cherry blossoms tunnel in April and cluster amaryllis in the autumn.
But about 3000 white hydrangeas in June are also amazing.

29. Wisteria trellis in Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi prefecture.

Over 150 years old great wisteria tree in this video is very famous.
The collaboration of purple flowers overhead and azaleas in the foreground was wonderful.
I rushed here right after the opening, but it was very difficult to get a video without letting people in.

30. Yamasa Kamaboko Lotus Flower Garden.

Six different types of lotus at different flowering times are planted in the extensive grounds of Yamasa Kamaboko Corporation, founded in 1916.
It was the first time I had seen so many blooming lotus flowers as far as the eye could see.
