12. This is one of the best reason to come back to Bali: the culture

The Balinese profess a very special religion linked to their own culture: Balinese Hinduism (a mixture of Buddhism and Shaivism

Yesterday we went to visit one of our favorite temples: Tirta Empul Temple and we were lucky enough to witness one of its ceremonies again. However, for the girls it was the first time and reliving moments like this with them is what is worth it

The Tirta Empul temple is a sacred spring water temple where Balinese and foreigners can perform the complete purification rite through each of its sources. It also has a large carp pond as you can see in the video and you can buy fish food right there. Avril blew him away with how many there were.

Save this temple, if you plan to come to Bali one day

29. At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun

From @uniquepassports

30. There is a non-profit organization at Kuta Beach in Bali that collects and cares for the eggs laid by the turtles

The eggs cannot hatch on the beach because the sand is too hard. The organization therefore cares for the eggs and the baby turtles that hatch from them until they have reached a certain body temperature. Only then are the sea turtles “released”.

Anyone can take part in this campaign. For this you have to go to Kuta Beach and get a (free) ticket at the booth of the organization. You can of course make a donation if you want. Then you get a baby sea turtle and go to the beach together. Finally, the animals are returned to where they belong. You can watch them and take pictures. It was an indescribably beautiful feeling. We would recommend this activity to everyone
