5. Mesmerizing views of Snoqualmie Falls flooding after all of the recent rain
Pretty crazy that this was one of the first places I ever photographed when I moved to Washington. I could hardly believe my eyes back then.
These days, I rarely get around to visiting the falls, but they always remind me of those first few weeks living out here.

6. This was one of the best days of my life. We were in Milford Sound on what was possibly the rainiest day in modern times. 22 inches of rain in 24 hours
It was the most beautiful and chaotic landscape I’ve ever seen.
The roads washed away, we destroyed our cameras in the rain, and the mountains turned into waterfalls that looked like tidal waves through the downpour.
The rain and wind was so heavy at times it was hard to stand up straight or even keep your eyes open.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be that happy again taking pictures, but I’ll definitely be chasing that feeling for the rest of my life.
