3. The Most Peaceful Places in the U.S.
FYI: All locations were chosen because they are well-known, protected/regulated outdoor destinations, and I do not geotag secret, local, sensitive locations, nor will I ever. Remember to do your research and due diligence beforehand, as a few of the places shown require permits and extra planning before visiting. As always, please be responsible and safe while visiting these beautiful places, and Leave No Trace. Cheers.

4. What is at the top of your list? ✈️
🌸 Chase Cherry Blossoms in Japan! The best time to see the blossoms are in mid March and the colors are just as beautiful as you can imagine! We have a full guide on our YouTube!
🍾 Pop Champagne in front of the Eiffel Tower! The most romantic city on the planet is filled with amazing croissants, iconic views, and art around every corner! Visit during off season to avoid the crowds!
🏞️ See Firefall in Yosemite! This phenomenon happens 2 times a year (depending on rainfall) in February and October! There is nothing more magical than seeing the light hit the falls and the entire valley applauding together.
🥶 Sleep in an ice igloo! We woke up in the ice igloo and then chased the northern lights all night in Finland!
🏔️ Hike in front of the Matterhorn! Switzerland is home to some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, and hiking in front of this iconic view is a must!
🌋Watch a volcano erupt in Iceland! The past few years there have been multiple volcanoes erupt in Iceland and they are expected to continue for the next few years! Take this opportunity to watch the power of the Earth!

6. Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. I think this is my favorite arch anywhere, and the hike to get here is really fun too.
This was a really lucky moment to shoot this video, as normally there are too many people at the arch. This was from 2017, when Arches was doing road construction that required everyone to be out of the park by 7 pm. I realized the crowd was thinning out as it got late in the day and thought I could try and shoot this before hiking down.

11. Navigating through the twists and turns of these slot canyons was both challenging and fun
we certainly had our fair share of laughs trying to maneuver our bodies to fit through the tight spaces 🤣 thankfully we made it out in one piece!
🥾trail details:
📍dry fork narrows, peekaboo and spooky slot canyons
📍6 mile loop
📍649 ft elevation
*There is a new sign at the trailhead this year with posts demonstrating how narrow spooky slot canyon gets that allows you to see if your body will fit before attempting it. if this part makes you claustrophobic, you can always do the dry fork narrows section instead and skip this one.

19. Summer one day itinerary in Ouray, Colorado, The Switzerland of America. Save it for later🤌🏻
1. Quick hike to Box Cañon Falls. Ouray's own wonder of the world. A 285-foot waterfall plummets into a narrow quartzite canyon.
2. Hike Perimeter Trail. The most popular and sought out trail in Ouray. It's a 5.8 miles loop that gives you some of the best views of Ouray. You'll pass multiple waterfalls, scale the edges of Ouray's rugged mountains, and travel alongside the Uncompahgre River Gorge.
3. Soak in the Ouray hot springs after a day of adventure. There are swimming pools as well as multiple They open until 10pm so you'll have plenty of time to relax.

🏨 Where to stay
Having been to Sequoia multiple times and staying at different places, we absolutely recommend the Wuksachi Lodge located in the heart of Sequoia which is a huge plus considering the closest town is over an hour away! The Wuksachi Lodge offers a restaurant, gift shop, guided ranger tours for star gazing, and much more!
As always, please Leave No Trace when visiting. Do not carve on the trees, climb, or damage them in any way. We can all do our part for keeping this area beautiful for generations to come!

27. The Half Dome on your bucket list?😨
This hike is not for everyone, especially if you are afraid of heights. The elevation gain is over 5,300 feet and the distance is 16.5 miles. Be sure to start early and bring plenty of water. This hike will take you between 6 and 10 hours to complete.

30. Is half dome on your bucket list?
This is a brutal but amazing day hike. I just crossed this off my list this weekend and we clocked 19.5 miles and 5,300ft over 14 hours!
Seeing the cables for the first time was insane - it straight up looked (and felt) like a 90 degree angle and is almost entirely upper body strength. We did see a few people turn around… but I promise you, go slow and steady and at your own pace, and you can do it! The moment of conquering it and standing on top of half dome above all of the valley is a moment to remember ❤️
